HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?

01. What is included?

  • Each studio apartment comes with a vacuum, clothes dryer, set of cooking pans for the induction hob and a new mattress cover. A package is available which will include duvet, pillows and bed linen made up for your arrival and everything required in the kitchen. This makes travelling from outwith the UK a lot easier.

  • Your apartment is built to an exceptional standard and this includes throughout PH a desire to be as environmentally friendly as possible. There is a sophisticated control system which helps to keep your apartment energy efficient. Our responsibility is not to waste energy and there is a generous fair usage allowance.

  • High speed broadband throughout the building with ethernet cables in each apartment.

  • Open your free account with our internet provider. 24 hour support is available.

  • Council Tax - students are exempt- Princes House will register each tenant with Norwich City Council. Exemption certificates must be forwarded to NCC

  • With our ultra-fast broadband, there is no need for a television! TV license must be paid if live television is viewed.

02. Apartment booking

  • As soon as you have chosen to make Princes House your home we will ask you to pay a holding deposit which means your apartment is held for you and we no longer market it. This deposit is equivalent to one weeks rent and is refundable in the first rental payment. A personalised application form is emailed to you to complete and return with a copy of your passport and ‘Right to Rent’ documentation.

  • A damage deposit equivalent to five weeks rent is paid along with the first month’s rental payment prior to check in. This deposit is held in The Tenancy Deposit Scheme. This is a very simple process which is easy to follow, non profit making and there to protect your deposit.

  • Rent can be paid in monthly instalments when Financial Referencing can be passed.
    This is carried out by Homelet on our behalf. Simple process just follow the procedure. A UK guarantor maybe required or rent can be paid upfront. We ask for rental payments to be in our account on the 1st of each month or alternatively you can choose to pay your rent in advance where it will be securely held and then the rent paid monthly.

  • A resident over the age of 18 who has a good credit history within the United Kingdom and is recognised for tax purposes by HMRC. A guarantor agrees to pay the rent if you don’t pay it.

  • We are very flexible in Princes House and our studios are available up to 12 months.

  • We have people coming and going throughout the year. Albeit most are to coincide with the academic year but we a super flexible on dates.

03. About our accommodation

  • As well as having a washing machine in your apartment we have another in the laundry plus two tumble dryers. Contactless payment.

04. How to get to Princes House?

  • By Train - Norwich has a mainline railway station with regular connections to London, Cambridge, and other UK destinations. London is only 1 hour and 40 minutes from Norwich. The train station is at 10minutes a walk from Princes House.

    By Bus or Coach - National Express and other coach companies operate regular services to Norwich from different parts of the UK.

    By Air - It has regular and quick connecting flights to Amsterdam Schipol Airport which opens up flights all around the world.

    By Car - Norwich is well connected by a major road system linking into duel carriageways and motorways giving easy access to the whole country.

  • Norwich Airport is a short journey from Princes House. We are happy to collect you and your luggage on your arrival. We are also able to arrange a taxi to collect you from London.

  • Norwich train station is less than 15 minutes walk from Princes House. You can walk through the bustling Princes of Wall Street, or enjoy a quiet stroll along the river.
